Loving Lately – 08.21

I can’t believe we’re already in August…summer sure did fly by, just like this year entirely. Things have been so busy lately with work, hosting friends, some family events, etc. I get so excited for everything to start slowing down over summer, but those months end up being the busiest time of the year. We’re taking a trip down to LA this weekend (celebrating my friends’ birthdays)! This will probably be our last fun summer hoorah before we welcome fall–my favorite season.

Some of our furniture pieces we ordered way back in May finally arrived, like our new king bed and entryway table. I’ll have to do a furniture roundup once our nightstands come in. I’m most excited to get the primary bedroom finished since that’s one of my favorite rooms in the house. It’s just so cozy! We started thinking more seriously about renovation plans and definitely want to extend the primary bath–more on that later. We also finally decided on a formal dining room table and got it for such a steal! It won’t arrive until Nov/Dec (no surprise there) so maybe we’ll be able to host Christmas dinner for friends and family. Just maybe.
